Climb Aboard A Carousel And Begin A Journey of Hope, Patience and Joy
The imagination of a child, at times, appears to be without boundaries. In one moment they may be climbing mountains dangerous and cold but in reality their adventure is a hill of fresh snow, piled high in the front yard. On another occasion they may become frightened by dark shadows of lurking silhouettes in their room. But if the truth were revealed their fears would be nothing more than curtains swaying gently from an evening breeze coming through an open bedroom window.
In the heart of every child a story waits to unfold where imagination is a dream waiting to be realized, patience waits too long and hope is renewed daily at the first glimmer of morning light. Timothy and the Polka Dot Pony is one of those stories.
You are invited to climb aboard a city carousel with Timothy as he rides his favorite friend Polka Dot Pony. Equipped with a saddle and reins, Polka Dot Pony allows Timothy to imagine he is riding a real pony.
One day the Polka Dot Pony is replaced by a seal causing Timothy to become very sad. Hoping to cheer up Timothy, Timothy’s father plans for a visit, with Timothy, to the country. The ride to the country, at first, is boring. But Timothy soon learns the country has a surprise more fun than a city carousel and more real than a wooden pony.
Will Timothy have an opportunity to meet and ride a real pony? What has happened to his friend the Polka Dot Pony? And what surprise does Timothy find, in the country, at a place called Carousel Farms?
The answers to these questions are found within the pages of "Timothy the Polka Dot Pony… a story about believing and not becoming discouraged, even when a personal dream might seem impossible."
